Hello March.

I'm happy March is here, because it means that spring is in sight... technically, i guess. When I look outside, I realize that spring, here in PEI, is undoubtedly still a long way away. We've had record snowfall amounts and it doesn't seem to want to let up any time soon. It will take forever to melt!
Last night, the snow seemed to fall relentlessly, which meant more shoveling before work. Bless the delivery man this morning, who braved the drifts to my front door with a parcel for me (cookbooks from amazon.ca)!

Time for an escape. Of the imaginary kind...

I am a lover of white kitchens and this one from House Beautiful magazine screams spring. I think I'll just take a seat at that counter, on one of those adorable stools and admire the blooms, as I stare out that lovely window.

It's okay to pretend isn't it?

Oh.. and what is it they say? If March comes in like a lion, it goes out like a lamb.. here's hoping!
