Wall Mount Sink ~ Yay or Nay?

I've got bathroom renovations on the brain. More specifically, bathroom renovations with space saving solutions. I'm very curious to know what you think of wall mounted sinks.


Freeing up underneath the sink will create a feeling of spaciousness. No? I suppose you'd lose a storage opportunity though and there virtually no counter space. A bit of a give and take.

What are your thoughts? Do you have one in your home? Would you consider it?

    If it were a huge bathroom with separate storage I would say YAY YAY YAY. So gorgeous. Except no where to put your tooth brush? Towels? Other toiletries?

    I say YAY, as long as you have room for a medicine cabinet somewhere else and some shelves or a closet for storage.

    I like a little storage under the sink myself. And I like to hide the pipes.

    I say YAY, if you have additional storage and with a chic medicine cabinet (I much prefer having your toothbrush and toiletries hidden away than on the counter).

    I love it but I tend to ignore things like function ;)

    I'd say if it was a guest bathroom or if you have backup storage, go for it!

    I'm a huge fan and if I didn't have to rip up my wall to change the plumbing for the faucet, I would be all over it!
