{Made With Love} Featured on 100 Layer Cake!

via 100 Layer Cake
Remember this adorable couple? A little while ago, I was lucky to become part of a special group of the most creative and talented women I have met in a while. We share one common thread, our love for Prince Edward Island and a desire to showcase the talents that exist within it. We combined out passions to create a styled wedding shoot showcasing the beauty and uniqueness of our island. I was lucky to be the set designer.

The shoot was titled "Made with Love" and was simply that. Held in the barn at Anne of Green Gables  house on the north shore, we showed how special weddings can be centered around family and simple tradition. In fact, the whole shoot was inspired by one item: a beautiful cashmere sweater, made especially for the bride by her grandmother.

This post is picture heavy but I am so thrilled to share that I couldn't hold back! I am not a wedding decorator but I'm passionate about the design of anything and this was a unique challenge for me. I really enjoyed it! It was such an amazing experience to be part of such a great group and to put this all together on a cold (freezing) winter day. I'd say it was worth it!

Today our shoot is being featured at 100 Layer Cake. If you wish to read more about the shoot and see more photos from the day, please head on over and leave a comment! It's worth a peek!
