Switching Things Up

I've been switching things up around the house. I love creating little vignettes with my favorite accessories. Sometimes moving things from one room to another or combining different accessories gives a fresh look to a room!
It is rare that I will leave things the same way for too long. I get bored and want something new! Luckily, I go shopping around my house and not at the store or I'd be really broke!
I'm still struggling with my dining room. I think I change something in there on a weekly basis. Recently, I played around with my old radio stand.

    I do the same thing! I am very frustrated with my dining area right now.

    I like the blue lamp and the white mirror by each other it looks good!

    Is it wrong if I say I think it looks a bit crowded? I like the layering, but the lamp looks too big for that look (though I agree that the color works well with the radio). Maybe try a smaller lamp, or one that's more airy? I do like the silver plate with the round mirror. That's a nice bit of repetition, especially since I can see your kitchen in the background (and I know you have that lovely round globe light, plus your little vignette of embroidery hoops in the background. :)

    I agree that the lamp might be a bit big, but that's all I had! That's the fun of switching it up.. after a few days I may not look like that anymore:)

    I love white and turquoise together, that is the color scheme in my own house. I love the little bird and that lamp is awesome!!! Great job :)

    Is that the lamp from the office? I love that lamp! Maybe do the same finish on a smaller vase or other item? I like the shape of the lamp, the scale is just a bit big like others said. What fun to switch things up though - keep it fresh!
