Maybe it's because I keep coming upon the gorgeous-ness that is Caitlin Wilson's new textile collection. The shades and patterns are incredible.
Otherwise I'm inspired by some of these images that I've been pinning on Pinterest. You can follow my bedrooms board here as I will bit continually adding to it.
I know for sure that the walls will be Cashmere by Para Paints, a warm, soft grey which shouldn't interfere with any fabric choices. There will be an upholstered headboard, perhaps with nailhead trim (thinking navy). There will be some navy, some grey and some pink/coral fabric. Other than that, I'm stuck. Any suggestions for fabric as a jumping off point. I'm currently overwhelmed with too many ideas! Or maybe I just totally over think everything.
Totally know how you feel....I'm loving the navy, pink, grey vibe myself....

ReplyDeleteLoving it all. I am in the middle of doing my master and pulling in grey & navy as well.
ReplyDeleteHi Jane,
ReplyDeleteI recently completed a client master bedroom and used white and grey as the main color scheme with pops of navy. It turned out fabulous and the client loved it.
I'm doing a navy and grey master right now. I want to add a pop of color too. Im thinking coral...
ReplyDeleteAll of these images look great. I think the more color the better! Especially with a neutral grey backdrop for the colors contrast :)

I am always drawn to navy no matter how hard I try to steer away from it. It works so well at making things look crisp.
ReplyDeleteI totally understand being overwhelmed by Pinspiration. I am getting ready to redo our main bathroom and am overloaded and overwhelmed with ideas.
Good luck. It will be beautiful no matter what you do.
Ughh. Such great inspiration. It's so hard when there are so many gorgeous fabrics out there. I love Caitlin's. Love the idea of navy against the soft gray. Must include a pop of pink, right!
ReplyDeleteI'm totally following your boards. The husband says we might get to redo our bedroom (or do it properly for the first time), but I'm a bit confused and torn as to what to do! I love the colors on the throw pillows; her designs are exactly what I'd want in a space.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many beautiful bedrooms that I am constantly pinning and as a result I will have one of my own. If I were a client, it would be done but I am definitely my own worst client. Can't wait to see what you decide although I know you can't go wrong.
ReplyDeleteOh navy. Such an underrated colour! We went with navy for our bridesmaids' dresses at our wedding and I'm so glad we did! Crisp, classic, so tailored. It makes so many other colours pop against it. I say go for it!
ReplyDeleteI love how organized your pins are. I made the mistake of pinning everything to one board when I started and now want it sorted but it is a huge pain
ReplyDeleteIn love with that pop of pink!!!!!
ReplyDeleteXOXO
Kristin
All of these images are totally lovely!
