The little nook that now houses my new built-in bookshelf was a bit of an annoyance for me over the last couple of years. It was an awkward little open space beside my fireplace, that served no purpose as it was.
I knew I wanted a bookshelf from day one. That didn't stop me, however, from pinning away the many possibilities for tiny little spaces that can be oh-so-cozy! From reading nooks, homes for perfect pieces of furniture to office spaces, here are some of my favorites.
There is something perfectly cozy about a little nook and I like them:)
ooh i love that first nook!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving those cozy office nooks! Makes me think I wouldn't mind working quite so much. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm thinking of doing something similar like that first photo (by Designer Colleen McGill by the way).
ReplyDeleteGreat little spaces. Thanks for posting.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great collection of cozy nooks! I'm eventually redoing my third floor (the attic) and a couple of these pics will come in handy!

ReplyDeleteLove that second office from the bottom. Thinking about all the nooks I could utilize in my house... not sure there are that many :(
ReplyDeleteReading nooks are the best! Nothing like having that cozy feeling of a warm space, a book and a cup of tea. I love the bottom one!

I love the painted dresser tucked away in that little nook...super cute.
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are great. I often wish that we had more nooks in our house! We don't really have any, in fact. But since we are in the process of finishing our basement, I could still design my own little nook!
ReplyDeleteI love those spaces. What great reading nooks.
ReplyDeleteI love little nooks, and you pinned some great ones!
ReplyDeleteMy pinning finger is getting very itchy! Love the green dresser too!

Hi there
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the window seat in the last photo, excellent layering on the mattress and very creative pillows!
