Remember when I blogged about my love for this poster?
I contemplated it for a while.. I read all your comments and agreed with both sides. Ultimately, I decided it certainly isn't timeless and it's a bit done. But I love it anyway and that's what matters!
On the other hand, it is a bit expensive and seemed to be always unavailable when I looked into. Plus, I hated to pay the crazy international shipping cost from US to Canada!
Then a few weeks ago, it was my lucky day! One of my lovely readers emailed me and said that she had one that she would sell to me. She ordered it for her wedding and when they released the new colorways, she found one she prefered.
So... guess who got one for a steal of a deal! Yup.. me:) When it arrived in the mail, I was giddy!
Now I have to get it framed and find a spot for it! I so like can't wait ;)
Here are some more images of the infamous print!
Anyone know if it will fin into an Ikea Ribba frame?

ReplyDeleteI completely agree with going for what you really love...I got a "Keep calm and carry on" not that long ago because while it is *SO* overdone, I still really love the sentiment! And who can resist a steal of a deal? (c; I love it when things go my way!

ReplyDeleteOk so you're one of my daily blog reads (and I only have like (no pun intended)... five of those). Anyways, I fell in love with this poster when you blogged about it before and this post (plus two glasses of wine and finishing my second year of law school) just inspired me to spend the 60 dollars to buy one. Thank you SO MUCH for the daily inspiration. You're amazing!
ReplyDeleteHahaha, I love the title of this post. So clever! And I'm right with you on the poster. I absolutely LOVE it and thinks it's adorable. I really hope an IKEA frame fits it because otherwise it will be so expensive to frame!!

ReplyDeleteI'm loving this print as well, its been popping up everywhere. It seems to be replacing the "keep calm and carry on" posters.
ReplyDeleteYour home is own personal space in which to express yourself. If you like it then i say, Enjoy! PS- i have the "keep calm and carry on" poster and th'sat probably even more done. But i don't care becasue i like the sentiment and it matches my colour scheme.
ReplyDeleteHey there! I am new to finding your blog and just love it!! I have always loved that poster too! I am most definitely drawn to typography as art. Adding you to my Google Reader! :)
